Anna adored her family and friends; in fact, one could say she lived for them and honoured them at every given opportunity. Our mother was known for spending endless hours in the kitchen. However, meal preparation did not stop there. She was known for preparing fruit and vegetable platters in her fruit shop. Anna would also help family and friends in their homes to prepare food for birthdays, weddings, and other joyous celebrations. Even her very own backyard, was a sanctuary for meal preparation and delivering banquets of food. This provided people around her endless moments of laughter and memories that would last a lifetime.
